I lived in Wisconsin from 1987 to 1998. I never heard of Ed Gein until then. My coworkers told me about him and I couldn’t believe what they were telling me! I went to the library and got a couple of books and read about him. I was horrified. This movie is pretty accurate, except for a couple of minor things. Charlie Hunnam does an exceptional job playing Ed Gein. His mannerisms were spot on. It could not have been an easy part to play. Laurie Metcalf was also great. The whole cast was wonderful in my opinion. It’s very disturbing to watch, but it’s true. NOT FOR CHILDREN!!!
