Totally unnecessary remake of an iconic movie. The remake is less powerful, less dramatic, slower, and doesn’t justify the need for a remake. Almost seems like Spielberg just wanted to have his name associated with the film. Great songs were eliminated and iconic ones recast out of sync. Casting was good but who cares if the flow of the movie lumbers along. Special effects lighting does not add anything. So what! Spanish language is fine but does not justify a remake. For someone that has not seen either version, I would definitely recommend them to see the original. It is by far the more visceral and sympathetic version.
