Ash Stevens

I went into this expecting it to be really good, and was disappointed. The build up is very slow. Ultimately a movie about serial killer fans, which is different than what we usually see, but not as thrilling as I would’ve liked.

I went into this movie without really knowing what it was about. I was expecting a horror movie with cult undertones and some deaths. The movie itself is way too long. Many scenes were drawn out that really didn’t need to be (like a ritualistic sex scene that goes on for 10 full minutes). There’s a ton of body horror and gore that they’re really leaning into to make this a horror movie. It’s very unsettling. However, the main plot line being about the cult and how they handle things was very interesting. I liked the scenes were they feel eachothers pain and lean on eachother to work through it. If you’re into body horror and cults, this movie could be for you, but not one of my favorites.

I liked it up until the last episode. Hated the ending. Do not recommend.
