This was the inaugural movie of Anupama Talkies in a very very small town Jagdalpur (Bastar Dist), Chhattisgarh (then MP).
We, at the age of 13years, were thrilled to know that the movie is being released on the same day in India (in 1967).
Today when I again saw the movie after 52 years I was thrilled. Could not believe the level of acting of Nargisji with practically no technical support from camera, editing team, make up artist, light controls etc. Only and only artist’s emotions on the face and body movements.
Lucky to see it again.
