Very disappointed in this series! I haven’t watched past the first episode so it might get better… but based on the first episode the acting is over the top like theatre acting, the dialogue is clunky and awkward and obvious, no subtlety at all, the scenes jump from one to the next with a few shots per scene so you don’t connect with anybody and the editing is so fast it’s jarring and uncomfortable, and the shots are so obvious and juvenile if i didn’t know this was Amazon prime I would think it was a university media student’s first director film project. I never write bad reviews in general but I’m genuinely astonished something this high budget can be made this badly.
