Lego Chima is truly an influential work, on par with great films such as American Psycho, Inception, and 12 Years a Slave. It explores amazingly deep themes of wealth inequality, racial disparities, and the impacts of technology on society and it manages to achieve this in format palatable to even fetuses. This is one show that truly ought to be a prerequisite for any humanities major, as it offers such a deep and complex analysis of the real world and where we are heading as a species. I truly applaud the writers at lego for making not just another show to promote some sets, but rather delving into the most pressing issues we face in the world today. I want to thank the actors for their hard work and their exceptional acting which, quite unfortunately, failed to win Academy awards for best actor in leading and supporting roles despite its clear superiority compared to other works of the year.
