I think this game is decent. But it’s not better than Sunshine, 64, Odyssey, and Galaxy 1 and 2. My biggest gripe with this game is completing every single level as every single character. That part of the game is hell, especially when you play champions road (god I hate that level). Just because this game is not my fav 3D Mario game doesn’t mean I don’t like it. There’s a lot of good stuff I like about this game as well. One of the things I like about the game is the cat suit. I’m a big fan of cats, and the characters look adorable in the cat costumes. I also have a couple of favorite levels in this game like Mount Must Dash, Spike’s Lost City, Bullet Bill Base, and other ones as well. The Bowser’s Fury edition to this switch game is also a fun little add on to this game. Bowser’s Fury is a good game, but it’s relatively short. There are 100 cat shines in the game, which is a little bit lower than other Mario games. The part where Fury Bowser wakes up can be a bit annoying sometimes, but it can be useful for destroying some fury blocks. My favorite part of this add on though would have to be riding Plessie. The music for riding Plessie is a banger, and she gets you from island to island so much faster. Overall, this game isn’t bad, but it’s not perfect, so I’d give it a 5/7 (That means it’s decent).
