I have watched this movie several times over the years and am always moved to tears. Horton Footes writing is heartbreakingly true and reminds me of growing up in the South and family dynamics that can exist anywhere. I have also watched a version of this screen play with a all black cast with Cicely Tyson playing Mother Watts. I can recommend both.

Came across this movie and fell in love with it. Beautifully filmed, fabulous cast, gorgeous location, breath stealing suspense and a good old fashioned Southern ghost story to boot. Who could ask for anything more.

Really liked this movie. Beautiful scenery and photography. However, too many unexplained characters and about 5 story lines. I believe it would benefit from a little more editing. This often happens when the star is also the director and producer, they have trouble trimming their project. I'm fully invested in most of the characters and want to see their story to the end. Definitely hoping for parts 2, 3 and 4.

A beautifully shot mini series with good actors were nothing happens.

Good popcorn movie. Strong cast. Loved the use of bloodhounds and bows and arrows. And who doesn't like Patrick Swayze?

Saw this movie years ago and really liked it. The location scenery and photography were great. Loved Channing Tatem and Jamie Bell. They both had the athleticism to carry off the fight scenes beautifully. The costuming of the Seal people is crazy good. The last quarter of the movie could have been better. I recently bought a copy of this movie and have really enjoyed revisiting it. Just enjoy.

Like this movie just fine. Love Erin Eckhart in everything he does. Has a strong supporting cast. Good popcorn movie.

Switched to ABC evening News with David Muir several years ago after watching Lester Holt for years. Usually find the reporting fairly balanced. However, while covering the horror story of the Hamas attack on Israel, I find using the term "militants " to describe terrorists highly offensive. These butchers are not protesters. What a insult to the people suffering these atrocities. I hope this wording will change.
