There are only 3 episodes in the series on my PBS station. I've watched two of them and still can't figure out the relationships between the characters. Just when in think I have another one pops in causing confusion all over again. Also, by the end of the second episode I had tired of Cassandra's mourning and her denial of new love; pushing him to Jane rang false. But, above all, l'm tired of Masterpiece Theatre squeezing every drop out of Jane Austen as if there were no other great British authors. Enough already... let the Austens rest!

Truly an amazing and inspiring documentary. Women journalists making such a difference with so many challenges!

Love the show. Each episode is interesting, complex, and brilliantly acted.I agree with some of the reviewers here that the chemistry between mother and daughter is lacking and I do wish that the daughter would stop complaining, in particular about her mother. I also found the lesbian passionate kiss in the street by the chief of police and her lover, highly improbable. Would Tommy have been so stupid as to do that? Next week is the final episode of this season, which saddens me. In the midst of this stay-at-home time I really looked forward to spending an hour a week with Tommy. I hope it/she comes back soon.
