Slow and underwhelming, two tedious repetitions of the OG (someone getting randomly impaled and a nun hanging herself admittedly with a pyrotechnic flourish on this occasion) which were shocking in the 1970s but cliched now. A few too many long brown haired female 20 something characters made it hard to keep track of what was happening to who and when. I’m not sure who this is aimed at, but as a massive fan of the original trilogy I was confused and disappointed.
Spoiler alert; the film finished with the word Damian. For a moment I thought I had finally got it and this was actually a prequel to late season only fools and horses.
