Binged it in a night. The plot is unnecessarily overly complex for no reason. You get a few seconds' worth of Godzilla screentime total for the whole season. The story is barely even about him. All of the complex scientific mumbo jumbo they made up is rushed, hard to keep up with, and requires you to constantly pause and rewind to attempt to understand what's going on. Unfortunately the entire season is like this. I've been watching Godzilla since I was a child and this was definitely the oddest attempt at a Godzilla flick I've ever seen...even after growing up watching monsters like Megalon, Gigan, etc. Also, the characters are boring at best, and that's being modest. The monster designs are good but if only we got to see them more instead of constant pausing and rewinding to understand technical, made-up, rushed scientific dialogue for 99% of the show.
