The graphics are outstanding and show what the PS5 is capable of. The game noises and soundtrack are exceptional. As an online multiplayer, this is a great example of what a racing game is capable of. The single player experience is also very good, the cafe is a wonderful introduction to the game and has a lot of interesting content/history of the vehicles in the game. The reason I think this is only a 2 star is simple. The old Gran Turismo games had so much more of a single player experience. There were manufacturer specific events, nationality specific events, model specific events, body type specific events and so much more. Yes, it was a lot of grinding and I loved it. GT 7 is a thimble of water compared to the oceans of depth I’m used to with the older games. The single player experience could, and should be expanded back to the old games style of immersion experience - hopefully the next installment of Gran Turismo will go back to the winning formula of yesteryear.
