This series isn't just bad. It's like someone tried to take one of the most beloved novels and miniseries of our youth and defile it as a deliberate assault of your cherished memories. The casting is atrocious. I don't care that they changed some of the races. However if you replace someone familiar get a decent actor. Morgan Freeman played Red in Shawshank Redemption and NO ONE could say that was a bad choice. In this series its like they picked the weakest and most controversial actors they could find and deliberatley directed them to be annoying. Every fond memory you have if the novel and the decent mini series has been altered. The ending which most people didn't like is changed and guess what they made it even worse. This series its memorable for one thing only how to give higher production values to a mini series and destroy the things that made you cherish the original.

This show is the best adaptation of a video game series ever. Inspired by Mad Max, Planet of the Apes and many other Post Apocalyptic sci-fi films this video game series has always given us great characters, snappy dialogue and clever plot twists. The series beautifully done with a great story wonderful characters, dark humor, plenty of action, and the signature oldie soundtrack. It is truly an experience worth having.

This film is an absolute bore. The main character is a hype that we are supposed to relate to and root for? She's whiny argumentative and annoying. She's also butt ugly and lacks any acting ability whatsoever. The first hour is a waste of time. The new pinhead is dull and boring with none of the charisma of Doug Bradley whatsoever. She just stands there and grins like a good through 90% of the film. LAME.

There are alterations to the story that will anger purists that read the book. Despite that this is by far the best version of Dune ever put on film despite the changes. All the heavy themes of religious fanatacism, a holy war, selective breeding, political treachery are intact. This was a tremendous undertaking and the result is breathtaking in its scale and vision. Its 2 hours and 46 minutes long and a little slow in the first 45 min but never boring. It takes off like a Rocket after that and never lets up. Its a fantastic piece of filmmaking.

Its convoluted storytelling. Its dull and uninteresting.

This was a very good thriller. It is well acted and well written. It's been called a film that is "illegal activity for dummies". That's ok. Unless you are a hard core criminal or sociopath that is used to evading capture and suspicion or a cop you'll need the schooling the protagonist goes through as he has never been a criminal or escape artist and has to do research and come up with a plan. The film is also a love story and about believing in your spouse no matter what evidence is leveled at them because you should know them better than anyone. On both levels it works. Moby's music in the soundtrack is eerily compelling and adds to the edge of your seat feel of the film. It's a good movie.

Why was this film made? What's the point. It's horribly slow out of the gate. You sit through an hour of boredom to get to the lackluster action and a reveal that's underwhelming. In the end you ask what's the point? It offers nothing new, no new nor profound insights on the differing cultures involved. In the end you don't care about the men lost nor the cause they were fighting for. The bad guys torn out to be mindless monster cliches you're not afraid of. They might as well have been zombies. There's no rhyme nor reason to their locust behavior and they are presented as so dumb they couldn't possibly have the level of organization portrayed.

It's a classic you pushed to get revenge flick.
