"You do what your heart says you have to, because you don't owe anyone your life"
Well, I just watched a magnificent and brilliant film, In fact, it's been a while since I've enjoyed a picture in this way.
Steven Spielberg does an impressive job and I could say that it is one of the best biographical films there could be, I honestly cannot explain how much I love the film and the course of Sammy's (Steven Spielberg) path as a filmmaker, from so small with that initiative to the great Genius that he is now in the present and how he has left a mark on history.
If you like cinema or are more or less interested in this world, you will love this masterpiece as much as I do, it will also leave you a small message that could mark your life. From the atmosphere, the music, the photography, the script, I found them very well achieved, and I can't stop talking about the perfect performances that we can appreciate in the film, and Michelle Williams is such a great roll, she steals the act with her performance , and Paul Dano showing us once again this year what he is capable of doing even if he doesn't have such a long role. Sammy's entire arc seems perfect to me, since they managed to portray him very well on screen, since the whole story revolves around him.
Every little film-work that he (Sammy) does in the movie I enjoy to the max.
Maybe the only thing that didn't fully convince me is Monica's character, it may have made me a bit uncomfortable, but I didn't like how it fit, and Sammy's sisters were pretty good but at certain points they didn't do nothing and put them aside.
This has been one of the best experiences watching a picture in my opinion, I also have to say that it has a very beautiful and exciting ending. I'm sorry, but I have to emphasize that if you're interested in film and the process of how it's made, you'll have a blast watching this gem.
And remember
"You do what your heart says you have to, because you don't owe anyone your life"
