This was different. It is not just another crime procedural. It is brutally dark. At times, I had to back off a minute. It doesn't need gore and blood to make its point. It is dark in a way that is chillingly realistic. i enjoyed the many great performances. This is well written and well acted.

No spoilers. I loved the first. It was, to me, unusual, very funny, and dark. There were moments when I laughed so hard I hurt. This one? It was dark. But cringe. And maybe I'm weird, but I didn't laugh. Not once. It was, to me, predictable, just slogging through it, and not really witty or interesting. I don't fault any of the cast. I think they did what they could. But it wasn't good for me.

I came really late to this party. I loved Magnum PI and NCIS, but just found this. It’s so good! Easy to watch. Holds your interest. Just brainless fun. 🤩

It's not awful. It's not great. It's ok. The individual performances here are all actually very good. I'm willing to say the cast and the director did well. So what's the problem? It's the script. For something that could have been quite amazing, this is just so so. And that's a shame.
