Okay, so I've been playing so far and Trapt is an alright title but it is nevertheless it's also pretty disappointing for a sum number of reasons as well, listing: the (pros & cons)
Pros: music now the music is very dramatic and adds a dramatic effect to it being it's a game about trapping your enemies and the level of death scenes at the time does make it different compared to most titles which is what makes this game so rare and unique in its own way because there's not a lot of games on the PS2 that gives the option to do these things. And besides the story so far is good despite the fact there's no English audio which is a BIG surprise for an NTSC-U game but I'll get to that shortly and the graphics are good for (2005 standards)
Cons: Ah yes, cons while the gameplay can be unique and different its difficulty varies on how stupid the A.I. is and there are not a lot of options for traps which can make the game become boring and tedious very rapidly it also has the same location in like 5 different chapters of the story making it look like the developers Tecmo being considered lazy. They should have come up with new innovative ideas but surprise surprise, they didn't. And let me not forget that I honestly, also have a strong antipathy for the lack of English audio and only Japanese audio again, it surprises me because I have never seen an NTSC-U game have Japanese audio before I don't speak Japanese so that leaves me questioning in a rhetorical sense why Tecmo why?!
Well all I can say is this game gets 3 stars it's not bad but it could have been a lot better if only the developers put more time & energy into making the game interesting but it lacks replay value because once you beat the game you won't want to go back and replay it anytime soon that's for sure. It's not worth $49.98 on Amazon more like $10.98 maybe, but it's not worth any more than that!
