I truly enjoyed series one and two, but three left me cold the moment Jack Fox was killed off. What future can the producers possibly see?

Ever since I watched Downton Abbey, I’ve been starved of this type of well-written period dramas with such incredible ensemble casts of stunningly incredible “fits.” But no matter where I try to locate and watch other period dramas, there’s such a lack of perfection. Am I asking for too much- I don’t think so. I know our global entertainment industry is capable of delivering exactly what I crave (Ozark, Breaking Bad, GOT, among a few binge worthy favorites. Poldark came close!)? The Gilded Age is an amazing offering! I, too, hope for a “Long Run.”
