Cowboy Bebop is my favorite anime and I was excited for this live action. The visuals were astounding. How they incorporated graphic art mixed in with live is great! But, it seems to be a different show. It does not feel like Cowboy Bebop, but it is okay overall. The characters (except for Jet) were off personality-wise. It is harder to connect with them. In regards to the anime, it was emotional. They tugged your heartstrings with problems that you can relate to. The live action is more-so silly and fun. Definite eye candy and good entertainment, but again, it is just not Cowboy Bebop. Episode 1 was okay, 2-5 sucked, 6 was my personal favorite, 7 was... cringe, and then past that the show picked up again. Since half of the episodes were decent, the show deserves at least three stars. If they continue with another season, I hope they can add more soul into it.
