This movie shows the need for volunteer advisors for SSI. The lawyer in the movie did not provide all the information. Can someone help them there's a plethora of benefits they might qualify for. Our system is broken, we keep throwing money at people with disabilities rather than help and guidance. Someone within the system should be able to help their situation. Why not provide mentors for people on SSI. Paid classes for parents who are caring for disabled children. Disabled people need an advocate when it comes to benefits they might be entitled to. Why are Patrice and her boyfriend are being punished by a system that searches to control them and keep them in poverty.
