I think that it's not just about squeezing the trigger to kill someone, but also about the moral implications behind it - especially when it comes down to killing a woman or, even worse, a child. In other words, if you were in the sniper's shoes, what would you do ??. The film shows that you have to take those extreme measures in order to save the lives of your buddies - and in my opinion, that is all the justification that one needs. Nevertheless, it is still a bitter pill to swallow, and some people would find it very difficult to handle in a moral sense.
