Three siblings defy common stereotypes as they find ingenuous solutions along their journey. The narrative is original, dark and stylized. The illustrations take the readers into a gloomy realm. The tone of perplexity is increased with the changing surroundings in each book.

Since the novel is a classic, it is complex in its interpretations and also has a multitude of characters and places. Social impressions were highly significant to the characters of that era, and the novel emphasizes on them. Scenes tend to have few descriptions of the environment and people. The novel can have many adaptations while keeping its narrative. It was a delightful read and provided perspectives on early 19th-century England. The book is like a small encyclopedia. In the Harry Potter series, the messenger owls, snitch, hippogriffs and kneazle are the noticeable creatures. The remaining beasts (like the many dragons) are unobserved. Their complete glossary and formal department comes into place in this book. The legislative writing style makes it more credible. Most creatures are inspired by traditional fables and myths. The creatures' unique abilities and dangers are summarized well. They possibly serve as the unknown patronus of some of the characters.
