Beautiful production, costumes and casting for the most part. I think they missed the mark when they cast Cosmo Jarvis as Blackthorne. But then, they really miscast Richard Chamberlain in the first series.
the Japanese cast is superb, and the script follows the book fairly closely. I look forward to the next episodes.
