I had never watched the "Good" series so Elsbeth's character is new to me. I like the character, although she does come across as annoying, but the "clues" or gut reactions she has to solve the crimes are a little outlandish. I've only watched the first six episodes, so hoping things get a little more interesting. The only other issue I have with the stories is how much the Captain seems to always be involved in the actual arrest of the suspect. What other Captain of a NY police force has time to be so involved?
