Before I open the pages, I had a feeling this book will make me cry buckets, and boy am I right. The premise is simple; a cat’s perspective of what is going on with his owner’s life. Under unknown circumstances (at least in the beginning) Satoru (main character) needs to let Nana (his cat) go, to live with someone else, hence, they began their journey all over Japan, meeting old friends, and stories of their past began to unravel, slowly exposing the story to the readers. Dramatic, yet realistic, and full of learning points. If you’re grieving, this book could be for you. If you have a cat, then this book is definitely for you.
