The Kalam caricature. That is where I quit the movie. They were trying to paint the most beloved President of our country grey, by portraying him as not progressive and arrogant. Apparently he was stupid enough to not only not heed another scientist's warning and to go looking into the glass bell jar. Which itself is a biology lab equipment used for displaying specimens and not a cloche for chemical reactions. I wonder, was that right wing propaganda. idk.

The promising cast was let down by the preposterous story line. Did not even turn out to be a satire. The heroine insults and throws the hero out of his own flat. Tries to illegally occupy his property. Constantly misbehaves with his father. But the hero is infatuated by her all through the movie. The heroine just won't give way. And the hero then beats the hell out of her. And literally molests her. And then there is a happy ending.

The Second Season. I am sure in a country of "brown" people obsessed with movies, they could have found a dark skinned girl who could have acted as well. And "Chellam" = Deus Ex Machina = An unexpected power or event saving a seemingly hopeless situation, especially as a contrived plot device in a play or novel. The writers used this device, not once, not twice, but through out the series! Why so lazy!
