I was skeptical of this book bc of the age gap but I couldn’t ignore the praising reviews for the book and my desire to watch the movie(bc of Timothee Chalomet). I read Call Me By Your Name in a day. It had me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails, crying. I have a soft spot for well-written romance; this book surpassed all expectations. It made me yearn, it made my chest ache and my breath shallow. It’s a book I’ll definitely re-read after I get over the initial pain it caused. Beautifully written. Truly a masterpiece.
