Mom 8 “kerplopie” Sweeney

Sadly this show is a disappointment. For starters: not to be rude but the actor playing David looks nothing like the bible description. I mean if a person in the bible actually has a description of his appearance you can at least roll with that from the start of creating your movie/series. Get that right. This David doesn’t have beautiful eyes and is not handsome (I realize that is subjective) nor ruddy! Also, and this is where EVERY filmmaker out there gets it wrong. Agenda agenda agenda. I’m sure the feminist movement was alive and well during the reign of Saul! 🙄 The license taken with characters and dialogue would be laughable if it wasn’t so dang annoying. There are more scenes with women characters some completely made up and thrown in than there are with David and Saul. If you’re looking for a good biblical series continue looking. I realize they need to fill in gaps but I’ve seen biblical stories made into films over the decades and done much better. This one was a disappointment.
