Gentle kind and funny. The new legends of monkey is a wonderful updating of the Monkey King. The characters are each well drawn and sympathetic. Monkey is funny handsome, wise and vain. Tripitaka is beautiful, intense and courageous. Sanddi is my favourite. Beautiful. Gentle. A warrior god . Pigsy is brilliant. Strong. Hungry. What The New Legends of Monkey teaches is to be loyal and value your friends. We all have a long journey and will meet many challenges and gifts. Some disguised and hidden. This is a gentle telling of the Monkey King's story. I loved it. Watch it with your children and they will learn some useful life lessons while laughing and having fun.

Just finished watching Deadloch and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. I was interested to see what Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan would write without actually starring in the show. As they did in The Katering Show and Get Krack!n. Both of which were brilliant. Deadloch was fascinating, Australian, hilarious, foul-mouthed and on-point for the entire series. I was actually annoyed having to wait a week to watch Episode 8. Kate Box, Madeline Sami and Nina Oyama were all excellent in their roles. The storyline was twisting and engaging. The resolution, completely satisfying. Totally recommend Deadloch.
