The movie Tora Tora Tora in part, was filmed in Hawaii whilst I was in the Navy. I have pictures of the planes ,Japanese Zeros, that. Were used in the movie. I remember our ship, U.S.S. Yorktown(C.V.S. 10) being disguised with sandbags covering the number “10 “ for obvious reasons. I, being witness to see the making of part of a major movie, was very “Cool”. I have to admit it is a favorite movie of mine,and won’t miss it when it is being aired.
