If you see the portrait of him in the pizzeria with a crooked smile, that is the extent of his acting in this. If you are looking for a hero, it isn't Riri! She just spends all her time trying to get out of the mess she's made only to sell her soul in the end while speaking the entire series through clinched teeth. Not one person is saved in this. All characters are just drawn into darker places. And that's basically it...dark for no reason. Nothing redemptive or life-giving.
