This book reminded me of when my wife encouraged me to read the Ferber sleeping book which was 250+ pages about the science of sleep in babies. I “google imaged” Ferber technique and it gave me a very clear table of how to execute controlled crying in babies. Saved myself hours.
Let me save you hours by telling you this book encourages you to get up earlier and be productive before your family is awake. All of those things you make excuses for not doing; exercise, mindfulness, reading etc can be achieved if you get up an hour earlier and do them. This will then improve your mindset for the rest of the day and in turn, for the rest of your life, if you’re consistent. The message is a great one but the book doesn’t teach you anything you don’t already know and its very repetitive, making it a really arduous read (or listen, depending on how you consume).
Miracle it is not.
