It was unfortunate that it got cancelled, and why even? (The cancelation was the reason of the downgrade near the end.) This was my next dedicated cartoon after the goat, Gravity Falls. Could someone give a review or tell me what I should watch next? If I remember correctly, it was also inspired by anime. I think something along the lines of Sailor Moon. One of the EDs was going in that way too. A comedic fantasy adventure duo with subtle romance subplot starting from friends. Embarking on their own journey of moving on to stay as friends, going in their own separate romances which gave us the anticipation of their feelings for one another from their reactions. All while beginning from foreign adventures for Marco as Star adapts to Earth. Fights ranging from comedic to serious. Some foreshadowing, to which I believe had more potential if given time to develop. Then finally the overarching plot that was unfortunately rushed due to the cancelation. The character dynamics and development were fun to watch. From supposed bad guys to good guys. Jackie was cool though. We get hints of Star and Marco, implying mutual feelings in reactions but these were just gone as if nothing happened, too soon.
