One word - waste effort on a very low screen play... More than positives lots of negatives.. No proper story...Felt bit over acted by every artist from Suriya to junior artists.. DSP's bgm was annoying... really it was touching.. The very first 5th minute I felt it will a mess. Current era parts were poorly written. Technically tried a lot...lots of efforts but as a director Siva failed Dhisha's initial scenes were pathetic Whole movie will test your patience badly..for sure it will be a troll material for a long time... Please don't try for second part...

Bramayugam - is one of the unique movie released in Malayalam industry. Story is not new, but the way of making and performance from the lead actors really need to be praised. It's not a commercial element movie , we can call it as a classic approach drama. Positives - We never felt the fact that it's a Balck and white movie.plot really required the whole colour concept. Performance from the lead cast ,for sure Mamooty sir , literally killed it . Very very limited cast. Arjun Ashokan and Siddarth Bharathan done their role well. Female lead and Manikandan achari doesn't have much space in the move . Direction - Rahul deserve a great appaualse for taking such risky plot and he executed very well Cinematography - it's kind of world class experience - you need to experience it in the theatre itself. Frame by frame Shehnad made us love his work Execution of the haunting and horror element - while team made that happen. Editing & Art - it's the top notch , very much apt for the whole plot.Makeup department aslso did a superb job. Music & BGM - Christo done a fabulous job, you can't find not even a single unwanted noise or beat in the movie. Negatives - Slow phase - first half you can find lots of dull movements and it's took own time to come to the track ,more like a progressive plots. Don't expect it as a commercial movie. Not everyones choice - family won't accept it for sure . You can't find any happy movements in this. More like a myth story telling. Final verdict . If you a true movie lover this movie never disappoint you. It's a class movie ,not just the same popcorn watch . Lead actors and technicians came out with their best . It's an old school movie with new experimental plot. My rating 4/5

In one single word - a typical class cliche myth movie in a large canvas..it's not for the fans.. sometimes it reminded the old school drama movies .may be class audience would like it ...movie story never impressed me..goes in a very slow phases..lots of lagging and tale end also not digestive.. Plus cinematography - one word without doubt we can say that ,never before in Malayalam industry..one of the class..each and every frames was stunning Art team done a great job..really hats off.. we can felt that they hard worked alot for the movie.And costume part to really deserve a special mention. Locations - mind-blowing, camera man took the best of it Lead characters..many of the faces are pretty new ..that gave a freshness in the whole..Lal sir impressed again and again with his acting magic Direction - it's a pure LJP movie..every frame we can felt it .. Action sequences - pure goosebumps..class it was ..they utilised Lal sir fully Editing department - some parts we really need to mention specially the final part when villan's had the chat, transaction from one scene to others and al were classy.. Negatives The hype what they gave was for a mass movie - it's not at all, it's a classic drama genre ...it's not everyone cup of tea. Bgm- it's really good but not Fully..somes places it never justify with the situation. It's created more like a drama movie and resembles sometimes with old school English movies like client east wood ones. yes for sure Prasant sir tried something out of the box ..many would felt that was the best ..it's just my opinion. Story - sometimes I felt that director forgot about the story line ...it's not engaging or gripping. Felt like our patience level testing a lot. Production team told its came never before ,but in the end it's saying the good old story - women - power - catagory. High budget- is that really required for such category movies as the current trend is something else . I do agree it's a pure experimental movie - still? And the last the thought for 2 nd part really need to recheck.. I felt they were not able to kept their promises..go with less expectations..may be people would be there to praise it as class...i wood agree it if the team promoted it in such a way..its not a usual Lalettan movie - it's pure LJP outcome... My rating 3/5

Abraham Ozler...it's not offering anything new but it's engages ..if you are a crime thriller movie lover ..it's a worth watch experience..lead cast performance and cameos thrillers us. BGM and cinematography handled very well..its goes in the slow phases with predictable storyline .As always revenge drama but Midhun's direction gave a different shade..Emotions blended with an real life related story..It's spoiler to say this ..still Mamooty's Cameo gaves good vibe for the movie..for sure it will be a come back for Jayram as a lead actor in Malayalam..you can take your tickets for a pretty decent movie watch without any doubt..

KANNUR SQUAD -One of the best Malayalam movie released in 2023. Plus Script & Screenplay Lead actors performance - mamooty special mention BGM - Sushil Shyam master crafted Photography - magnificent shots throughout Action Choreography - special mention required Well crafted plot and execution Goosebumps moments Not even a single unwanted scene in the movie Efforts took by the director (Roby and whole crew to travel to various locations to locations- kudos ) Negatives Very less to say - started in little slow phase Similar plot to Theeran movie - karthi's movie Violence scenes- not that preferable for family audiences (but movie lovers will like it for sure bcz of its originality and perfection and it's necessary for the movie too.) Take your ticks without doubt.. It's Mamooty and his Squads heroism...must watch in theatres (it's not a fan review) My Rating 4/5..
