This, Chigley and Trumpton would not have been the same without the brilliant Brian Cant! We watched it as a family at lunchtime always wondering if Windy Miller would make it into the mill before the sails hit him! Had it happened I am sure the boys from Pippin Fort would have got him down! They didn't do much except to 'Fall in'!!

I loved it! I wanted to become a zoo keeper! Happily, I didn't, I grew up enjoying wildlife in the wild. Johnny Morris was brilliant doing the voices when he was ' Keeper Morris'.

As a three year old in the early sixties I loved it. The strings didn't bother me but I wondered how their shadows reached the sheep in the distant fields! yes I knew they were puppets, but had never heard of backdrops.....I was three remember!
