As a full stack, software engineer who has spent his life working for the "evil corps" of America, I have to say this show is amazing! The "hacking" that goes on is mostly true-to-life examples of how companies, systems, and people are exploited on a very real / personal level. The show is human, dark, and raw. Sometimes maybe perceived as a bit liberal - but I take it at face value and enjoy it regardless.
So done with the terrible tech scripting where the story has some technical magic wand waving going on with a bunch of silly verbiage to avoid addressing a story problem properly because... well, it's just not interesting to the average person. This show makes it interesting to the average and the technical person alike! The technical bits of the show ARE the story and that may sound boring, but the psychological aspects, questions of human morality and complex characters make it all very interesting. This show writes the script around the technical problem with true to life examples and in depth problem solving instead of the other way around (altering the technical problem, with fake solutions to suite the lame story).
The only negative to the show is its highly liberal agenda. While some might say it always had one, I disagree and would state that the agenda only started towards the end of season 3 with a lot of anti-trump imagery and other unnecessary things that we can all do without. I enjoyed the show at face value, I don't need to feel like I'm watching CNN. I may not watch season 4 simply because it felt like a liberal's version of Atlas Shrugged towards the end.
