This movie is freaky....I thought it was well done especially with the "split screen" scenes where Milla plays the psychologist but also in "split screen" actual footage of the psychology session is shown. The movie left me with many questions (SPOILER ALERT)......
1) It was proven that Abigail's husband was NOT stabbed in the chest by an intruder while they were making love.....it was proven that Abigail was hallucinating and that her husband shot himself in the head--suicide.....this totally calls her credibility into question.
2) Everyone depicted in the film who was hypnotized under Abigail had "psychotic breaks" or committed suicide. Coincidence? I think not. Was Abigail in a satanic cult and "suggested" to her patients and husband "alien abduction"?
3) However, after these "episodes" in her patients some of them became paralyzed...she herself ended up wheel-chair bound. Did aliens cause some paranormal activity in these people that permanently maimed them? or did she injure them? or is there some other factor?
4) The voice/voices on the tapes speaking "sumerian".....who or what was speaking like this? By the text the director played...the "alien" said "I am God." This seems like a demon or satan...not aliens.
5) Lastly, to think about...there was a cop stationed outside Abigail's house....from the cop camera you can hear the cop yelling that "something" was hovering over the house....then her DAUGHTER DISAPPEARS from her house.....did aliens abduct her? or did someone go through the back of the house and kidnap her daughter?
Many many questions arise from this movie/documentary. I would say that the FBI should have or should do an extensive full investigative background into Abigail the psychologist.....was she ever involved in drugs? a cult? criminal activity?
After seeing this movie I would NEVER allow someone to hypnotize me.
