The story of Iblis isn’t just some made-up tale—it’s real, it’s part of how the human race began, and as a Muslim I believe in it deeply. People from other faiths that follow the line of Abrahamic religions also know this story. That’s why it feels wrong to take a real name and turn it into a fictional or humorous character. It just ends up being confusing and disrespectful. I was honestly so excited for this show and thought it would be something magical, like Aladdin. That’s why, when creating fictional stories, it’s important to use fictional characters and names, rather than taking real Saytan (Iblis) name and portraying them as fantasy in a way that doesn’t fit the truth, and for those of us who know the real story, it’s really not funny at all.
