The 4,5 stars are surely paid reviews. This was the most generic action movie plotline hollywood offers. Just watch the action scenes on youtube and you wouldn't miss a thing. Has no charm as the first one. Hemsworth is basically Dom Toretto in this one. Injuries only leak blood but doesn't affect him in any way. Much of his body regenerates overnight. The first one really showed the extent of his injuries that he's no superhero.
