What a beautiful movie and it was so simple and straightforward. I really enjoyed watching the relationships unfold in the short time the movie gave us. I can’t say I’d change a thing. Just a great coming of age movie with all the happy and sads you’d expect to get.

-solid show -it starts kind of in your face but you get use to it -it was a pretty ingenious story line -didn’t care for the one off surfing episode. Well done but kind of random. -the ending felt a bit incomplete but maybe that was the point -worth the view

-felt like a great throwback to the original show -loved how the writing sounded like they were a mix of cheesy 80s lines and today -good animation -they kept it short and sweet and I kind of liked it more that way -awesome binge

-loved the idea for the movie -there is a twist, so expect to be surprised -movie explores ageism in the country -beginning of movie sets it up to be kind of cheesy and upbeat and that’s definitely not what you get -it can be a bit graphic and a few scenes catch you off guard so beware of that if you get triggered -good acting, casting, script

- good filming - excellent acting - believable plot - great twist What makes this good is that it’s completely realistic and the actions of the young female lead ring true. Shows us how much we rely on our phones and how vulnerable we leave ourselves to hacking and stalking.

Okay, so this anime was almost a homerun but I could not stand the character of Yamai. I also didn’t care for how certain characters sexualized Komi. I get it, high school and hormones, but it did go over the top and the fact that they were considered friends despite being so creepy turned me off a bit. The artwork was spot on and I loved Tadano, Komi, and several other characters. They were really endearing. It was awesome that they did a show about social anxiety too to show others what some people have to struggle through. So good effort, maybe ditch the obsessive “friends” next time and keep everything else.

This was a good follow up to the original. I liked that they made Blade a little more chatty and with more sass. Adding some science into the mix and a team up between the hero and bad guys was also a nice touch. It’s a shame they didn’t utilize Donnie Yen much more than they did and he didn’t even get to speak! Fight scenes, great. Story line, solid. New baddies, kind of disgusting but at least it’s something new. 4 stars.

-It’s a slower paced movie, not in a bad way -okay for teens despite mild violence -you only actually witness one death from beginning to end. You see one character attacked and killed, one only after he was attacked, the three others after they’re dead -this isn’t a horror movie, it’s suspense, so don’t expect big jump scares and gore or anything else - good acting, beautiful setting, interesting story line with surprising twist - conflicting feelings about the ending. Nothing bad, just a mix of happy and sad and not sure how I would have preferred it to end or even if I would have changed it - it is a bit heavy/sad

-Great action movie -Lots of cursing but the death scenes are subtle so up to you what age you’d okay this for -Super interesting how the deaths were filmed. They were quick and clean. Done fast with no crazy effects or anything. Made it very impressive. -Loved the character of Robert. You don’t read killer from looking at him but Washington definitely still gives off an intimidating vibe at the right moments. -Don’t really get a backstory on him or anything. Just left to the audience to infer how he’s such a good killer. Interesting.

Yes, you must watch this! Rated R but I watched with 15 and 18 and it was fine. It’s really just the language you’ll be concerned with. Love the filming of this movie. Dark, lots of wide shot city scenes, time gets sped up, just a fun way to view it. Enjoyed the science aspect of the plot. Rarely gets brought into story lines since romanticizing vampires is the traditional way to go. Always a blast to see Snipes using his martial arts and they could have even had more action without it having been overkill. Just a good time.
