Most of the people posting bad reviews multiple times didn't give the show a chance to grow on you. You reviewed it way too soon. I just binge watched all the episodes, because I forgot that Jared was coming back to Texas to live and make this show, and the story arc just gets better. It is true that this isn't Chuck Norris's Walker Texas Ranger. I was never a fan of that show, because of his acting, or lack of. If you were expecting a carbon copy of that show and not a re-imagined updated version of the character, this probably isn't for you. I actually like it a lot, but I went in with an open mind. All of you folks complaining about it being too "woke", or dismissing the characters that aren't exactly like you, will have a problem with most content on everybody's programming. I think Jared and the rest of the cast are doing a great job. I look forward to the next episodes. The episode that aired May 6th tied up the strings to the death of Walker's wife, so you story-line haters need to get past that.
