This book has got me intriged with historical books! The ending broke me into tears, love how the author portrayed the French women in ww2. The peace we have today is best gift that we should learn appreciate. The brutality and evils doings of Ww2 should be remembered. Throughout the book, I felt extremely fortunate to be born in today's era and in a country without war.
