I Want You Back is a light and enjoyable romantic comedy that is easy to watch. I appreciate that the movie took my mind off of more serious things for a couple hours. The main characters, Emma and Peter, are unexpectedly dumped. Both of them desperately want to get back with their exes and agree to implement elaborate schemes for each other to try to make that happen. - All is fair in love and war. - Right? Emma and Peter are well played by the actors, Jenny Slate and Charlie Day. They and the strong supporting cast successfully weave the story together in amusing ways from the beginning to the end. I give it a thumbs up and recommend real buttered popcorn and a soft drink on the side.
