I just saw this today and WOW. I haven't heard anyone talking about this and I find that genuinely shocking because the CGI, effects and quality of this movie are genuinely some of the best I've ever seen.
This movie has the level of detail and quality you'd expect from a multi-million dollar franchise, told in chapters in an indie-esque way. It's artful and creative without being inaccesible and has just the right amount of ear candy and intense action scenes to only intensify a nail-biting and thrilling experience.
The NOMAD was terrifying, the design of a country-sized space station closely watching, casting a shadow on entire towns as it looms slowly over the earth was tense and terrifying. The designs and variations of the various simulant, androids and replicant beings were serioulsy impressive for a one-shot movie and only makes me forever angry there'll never be a sequel because I already want to watch it again.
