Trying to do too much - while at first I found the story engaging, by the end I was annoyed with the book and the author. It felt like he was trying to do too much just to prove how clever he could be…and dragging me along for the ride whether I liked it or not. I did not. I grew weary, lost interest and barely finished the book.
