Too much time wasted on useless human characters, so when the Autobots and Decepticons finally clash no one cares. In a two hour Transformers movies I would've expected more Transformers, the little bit of characterization the Transformers do get is crammed into the last 30 minutes or so of the movie. In the end the movie is just long and boring, no plot, no characters, and not even very much action. The original show was made just to sell toys, and someone Michael Bay manages to make a cheap cash-in with even less soul.
