You expect every solo project by RM to be different than the last but this level of fearless creativity and experimentation is not usual from an established artist with alot to lose. You only need to see the reactions by fellow musicians ,artists and producers and all the rest of us music nerds who are bouncing up and down with barely supressed excitement. RM has had enough, he doesn't want to be a diplomat and used as an establishment mouth piece. He doesn't want to be portrayed like a monk. He wants left alone to make his music for his ARMY of fans new and old to enjoy. He wants to explore and express. He has taken the brakes off, right off and we get to see a real artist create Real Music that's exciting and surprising and as far from anybodies idea of kpop as its possible to get. In fact you cannot define it. One minute you say hello that's little bit reminds me of Frank Ocean, or Beetles Psychedelia, Brit Rap, avant-garde jazz, well you name it. It's an exciting blend of music that feels vaguely familiar and totally new. He's made it all work... and we are going to spend years trying to work out exactly how.

A future cult classic. This album encapsulates the confusing times we have been living through. From the drunken dissafection of CHANGE to my perfect lockdown song LONELY. The problems of establishing lasting relationships, confusion of identity, and all with surprising genre shifts and exquisite choice of collaborative partners. RM as usual injects positivity with often catchy beats A must have for any serious music collector. With english and Korean lyrics the beauty of his writting makes it well worth reading a few translations.
