So, I got conned into going to this with the grandkids.
Thinking it would be same old, same old.
I think it was great for kids but the adult humour was there also.
At times finding myself laughing out loud and completely engrossed in the film.
It helped as well being in 3 D as the reference to John Candy doing a Saturday Night Live 3D joke was instantly recognizable to anyone that had seen it
As well as a bit of a Spider-Man spoof with the train and a whole host of other things made funnier by 3D.
Storyline was good, ending was unexpected and good.
Hell, the end credits were worth staying for. Had to tell my wife and grandkids to sit back down so I could watch them.
It was certainly worth seeing at the theatre in 3D
Made me want to have a couple Minions hanging around the house!
