Shame that one good director and one good writer were not doing this series.Like many of the current crop of series , this use of multiple directors and writers has fallen short of a quality project. Lame is the only word to describe this series.

It fails with the music theme, totally not what a DC hero would have. At least four actors could have been replaced with younger /newer ones.Like so many productions of sci-fi, comic book heroes it tries to infuse romance into the story . Instead they ended up with a Maudlin drama not a heroic drama. Future comic book stories should be taken out of the hands of the current batch of American groups that try to re write them, look to young directors and producers from Asia and Europe, research up and coming musical directors. Then those of us who grew up with comic book heroes , fantasy novels and science fiction authors will be satisfied and the public will get a great movie to remember. It isn't that hard. It gets a B rating from me.

I have been reading sci-fi for sixty years and always felt let down by people who try to make Science Fiction movies and TV series . This series is the first that attempts to show what it would be like to colonise space with a degree of realism. Overall it relied on Science and people to inhabit the places and ships, no puppets, weirdo creatures, almost real science fiction without the need for comedic interludes or the oddball creatures. I hope something new comes along or even an offshoot of this era in space. Not one episode let me down.Now if only the other directors & producers who made the sci-fi with the weirdo characters would start taking their jobs seriously. As a by note if you have ever wondered what Earth will look like in the far future , have a look at Mars now, that is where we will be one day.

Started out very ordinary and did not improve from there.It looks and sounds tired, weak story line.

A TV series that makes you wonder how corrupt our governments are. Entertainment of the first order.

Should have been better but it wasn't. Way too slow and drawn out.

By far the best series of its Genre to have been on the small screen, nothing I've seen before comes even close.It is a must watch.

Don't confuse this with SciFi, it is more Steampunk +Suspense from the period of Sherlock Holmes + Drama like Jack the Ripper . If the rest of the series is like this , I'm In. Amazing how the critics have got it all wrong.

Not a gamer, but very impressed with the TV series. Acting is terrific and story relatively easy to folllow.
