Really enjoyed this book! a bit of a longer read than my normal books, but it never felt too drawn out. i liked the characters, and they had good depth. the climax got a little confusing at points, and i found myself a little lost once i got to the 3/4 way of the book, but i eventually figured it out. overall, a fun plot that drew me in and kept me in!

i had high hopes for this book, but i was severely underwhelmed! it literally felt like the author accidentally deleted the first half of their writing for this, and still sent it in to the publisher!!! I never got to know the characters, and the entire plot felt so rushed! it had a good plot, but there was so many holes in it and it could have been executed WAY better. i don’t know why this is so highly rated. :(

this book was SO good! i picked it up because the cover art was intriguing, and didn’t expect to love it as much as it did when i read it. Clarke brought life to so many words that i never knew could had life in them! every scene flowed into the next, and i was never bored of it. i wish i could read this book over and over for the first time!
