SPOILERS AHEAD!!! so for context, I haven't read the book so can't review based on how it fares against the book ... purely basing this on the series alone - it's sh**t. Love Jennifer, love Nikolaj but the progression, the buildup is just disappointing. From the start I could already tell it's a witness protection type of situation. And I hate that all the signs were there but the characters are so dumdum to even realize that. So yeah, not brilliant writing from the writer. Unfortunately this series is not something I could recommend. Not related: go watch Hijacked instead (Idris Elba)
